Presented by All Things Music, The HiP Machine returns to Town Hall 1873 Theatre on Friday, November 13, 2026. It has been two years since the band and frontman Darryl Aspin performed in his hometown of Port Perry, Ontario.
Inspired by the band, the man, the machine… The HiP Machine brings you the music of The Tragically Hip the way it was meant to be heard - live.
Darryl Aspin of Hitcher fame is known for his strong vocals and high-energy performances across the Durham Region. Joining him are guitarist Mike Rewegen, drummer Seth McNamara, bassist Stephen Reid, and lead guitarist Mike Marinuk.
Following six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute, Mike Marinuk brings performances that draw closely from the albums and live recordings. A visual element adds another dimension to the concert and deepens the connection to the songs.
For many, The Tragically Hip was the ultimate live band. The HiP Machine aims to bring back a little of that energy and presence, along with the memories we all share.
The show begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for youth ages 13 to 18, and $5 for children 12 and under. Purchase through the official ticketing link above.
